Four Founding Members of Insurtech UK have secured their place on the Third Cohort of Lloyd's Lab

Fantastic news that four of Insurtech UK's founding members have joined the third Lloyd's Lab cohort which totals 11 insurtechs.
The four members are:
- Flock. Flock is a big data start-up that helps underwriters unlock the power of risk intelligence.
- FloodFlash. FloodFlash says it enables fairly priced, no-exclusions, instant-settlement flood insurance. Customers receive a pre-agreed settlement as soon as FloodFlash sensor detect that waters have exceeded a critical depth.
- Oasis Loss Modelling Framework Ltd. Oasis provides an open source catastrophe modelling platform, free to use by anyone. It is also a community that seeks to unlock and change the world around catastrophe modelling to better understand risk in insurance and beyond.
- Phinsys Limited. Phinsys has built a platform of intelligent finance automation tools to deliver systematic controls to optimise financial close and reporting processes.
There were over 130 applications from all across the world for this opportunity, so seeing our ecosystem so well represented in this market-leading innovation accelerator was the perfect sign of the progression of the industry.
The cohort is part of the Future at Lloyd's strategy through it's commitment to expand the scope of Lloyd's Lab with a 10-week programme beginning on 2nd September.
