The Department for Business and Trade’s (DBT) Venture Capital Unit (VCU), whose role is to attract international capital into the UK's venture ecosystem and support the developing of technologies that are strategically important to the UK, is selecting companies to include in the 2024 Insurtech Lookbook.
The VCU team is currently developing an investment brochure for the UK Insurtech Sector that they intend to share with their international network. This will be a curated publication showcasing circa 8-10 exciting UK Insurtech companies that are looking for investment now, or in the next 3 quarters. They are conducting research and engagement across the domestic network to identify suitable companies that may be interested to feature. Companies that are selected for the brochure will be supported with bespoke introductions to significant international investors. This also frequently opens fantastic opportunities for business development in different international markets.

Threshold criteria you need to have:
- UK headquarters and operations
- An existing UK institutional investor e.g. VC, corporate
- Raising a Series A-D round over £5m over the next three quarters
