Autumn Forum
Thank you to everyone who attended our Autumn Forum yesterday, where we heard excellent discussions on a variety of interesting topics from our panel speakers.
We began with an informative Capacity Crunch presentation by Blake Redrup (Aon Inpoint) about the major factors affecting capacity and the insurtech market today.
This was followed by an interesting panel looking at the current investment climate for insurtechs, and the funding challenges that startups are facing, with Louise Birritteri (Pikl), Niall Barton (Wrisk), Stephen Brittain (Insurtech Gateway), Jens Hartwig (Laka) and David Keast (Corniche Growth Advisors).
There were great insights shared by our DEI panel discussing the challenges and experiences of women founders in insurtech with Charlotte Gregory (Capital Law), Megan Bingham-Walker (Anansi) and Toby MacLachlan (Ignite)
Our final panel was an informative session looking at AI insurance with Jonny Valentine (ThingCo), David King and Alexis Renaudin (Artificial Labs), Jeremy Owenson (Luxoft) and Eddie Longworth (JEL Consulting), as well as a demonstration from Artificial Labs of their underwriting AI product.
Chris Hayward, Policy Chairman for the City of London, delivered the closing remarks to the conference about how the City supports innovation, and our CEO Melissa Collet chaired the conference. Thank you to Lloyd's for hosting us and to Paragon Brokers for sponsoring the networking drinks reception.
